So goood!!!

Never a dull moment.. books starts with drama, and you can’t blame a girl for trying to get why she wants.. thankfully Nixon and Mallory were able to work it out and find their happily ever after!! Huge fan of Ak Evans.. have not come across a book of hers I don’t like!!! I think I could listen to Stephen Dexters voice over and over..

2nd book inthe series and I loved it. Lidia and Stephen were great as the narrators. Actually first time hearing Lidia and I am now a fan.

Harper Security Book 2!

Tempted is the second book in the Harper Security Ops series by A. K. Evans. Tempted is about Nixon and Mallory.
Nixon is the cousin of the owner of Harper Security and works as a kidnapping and ransom expert at the company and Mallory the best friend of Nix's brother's girlfriend.
Nixon and Mallory met when Mallory received a call from her best friend’s father when she didn’t come home the night before. Mallory rushes to her ex-boyfriend’s apartment to see if they were back together after breaking up due to her job as an escort but he didn’t seem to be concerned as he was hurting from the split. While talking together with Mallory letting him know that the escort job is only an escort job, he receives a text that changes things, someone has taken her. They rush to Harper Security, and this is where Mallory meets Nixon and gets to see him at work and watch as they all pitch in to help locate her. Mallory is attracted to Nixon and wants more than a friends with benefits, but Nixon doesn’t do relationships. Mallory knows she deserves happiness and since Nixon can’t give her the relationship that she so desperately wants will he find that love is worth fighting for if it is with the right person?
A. K. Evans does not disappoint! Another HEA and these are always the best!
I can’t wait for the next one to come out!

What a great story

What a great read. The romance between Mallory and Nixon felt realistic to me. I liked the suspense woven through the story but, felt like at times as the reader I was being led into a separate storyline that didn’t really matter, i.e. Connor, Ashley, and Anthony. Looking forward to the next story. In the audiobook narrated by Stephen Dexter and Lidia Dornet I thought they did a fabulous job depicting the characters.

Nixon and Mallory

In this wonderfully written story, we get to find out about Magnolia's best friend, Mallory and Killian's brother, Nixon, from Terrible Lie. Nixon is determined to never have a serious relationship and Mallory tries to have a friends with benefits relationship with him, but fails because there is no friends in their relationship. But there are threats to Mallory's life and Nixon pushes aside his vow to protect her.

The narration for this book was fantastic! Both narrators read their parts with inflection and it was perfect for bringing Mallory and Nixon to life.
