Christians and Bad Boys are a Great Mixture

The 72 crash course includes:

Luke thinks he has his entire life planned out. He's the star of the football team, the darling of his church, and planning a life with his amazing girlfriend. He looks at his parents, and wants the same kind of life with her, as they have. He's on top of the world, with the kind of perfect life you only see in movies, and everyone envies. But it all comes crashing down, when a new student starts at his school.

Elliott Danvers always wished he'd had a perfect life, because his own is far from it. After his mother died, grief made his father abusive, until he was taken away and sent to live in a series of foster homes. His once happy life is now barely a memory. With nothing in his life to hold close, he doesn't let himself care about anything. Only singing offers him the outlet and attention he craves.

When their paths cross, Luke finds himself lost, suddenly doubting everything in his life. He thought he loved Sarah, but now he finds himself drawn to Elliott. And in a moment of madness, kisses him in the hall. They're convinced that no one saw, but are they right? Could the cost of their kiss be more than Luke can handle?

Warning: contains a trouble but loveable rogue, a confused little Catholic boy, and some sparks.

Got this because it’s narrated by Joel Leslie. Unfortunately it’s one of those serial stories where only one piece has made it onto audible. The ending is abrupt. It’s not really even a complete short story, which is too bad because it had potential. Can’t recommend on its own

Just a chapter, not a complete story

I'm accustomed to authors using the ploy of baiting listeners in order to get them to buy the next book, but this story takes that ploy to another level. This story is so little that it barely gives anything worth following-up on in the next story. It is really nothing beyond 1 brief, surprising kiss and then the end. The author spends all of her time describing the high school characters and does an ok job of it. But, as a result, the "romance" in "gay romance" in the title amounts to a split second of interest in a guy and another second of a kiss. It's a scam.

Scam of only 1 kiss
