Once bitten, twice shy.

Rafe Blackstone may play the sexiest werewolf superhero to ever melt a woman's...heart...on the big screen, but Lily Hollander has already been bitten once by an actor, and once was enough. When she's fooled all over again, it's time to put that wayward heart in lockdown mode, especially once Rafe starts aiming his overprotective streak at her identical twin. Lily may seem like the softer side of the twinship, but nobody messes with her sister.

There's nothing she can do about Rafe being her temporary neighbor in the mountains above Sinful, Montana, or about being forced to witness the least impressive feats of horsemanship known to man. That doesn't mean she has to let him into her lingerie store, her heart, or any other part of her anatomy. He can just take his silver-blue wolf eyes, his rueful smile, and the rest of his gorgeous self, and...Wait, where was she again?

Oh, yeah. Are you allowed to hate your future almost-brother-in-law, if you do it really, really quietly?

It's fantasy evening when Rafe meets Lily in a San Francisco bar far away from either of their own homes. Little did they know their seemingly harmless identity deceptions would backfire on them big time. That was bad luck, but not. . . because they had that evening's sweet memory to look back on and realize that what they felt was real. A lot of things happen to Rafe that seem like bad luck, but turn out to be a matter of perception. He's good at that.

When they meet this time, back on the home ground of the first book, Sinful Montana, they find themselves dealing with an orphaned kid and a mangy dog as well as their attraction to one another.

This might be the first book I've read that I enjoyed MORE as an audio book. Emma Wilder did an amazing job of the voices and Rafe's changing accents. The rhythm of the story kept me so engaged that I listened to nearly the entire book in one day. I liked Lily from the previous story and Rafe was a great character, too. As always, the secondary characters in a Rosalind James book were great! The nine-year-old sounded and acted like a nine-year-old that you could come to love. Martin, the assistant was fun, too. These characters live in a community that interacts with them, but just the right amount.

I had already purchased the Kindle version of this book, but then received a free copy of this audio version in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

How does luck appear? Bad is good!

Rosalind James, brings us into a new world of romance, out of 10 being steamy, i would rate this a 7-8 in that dept a full on 10 with romance, the Story is about Lily who been hurt one to many times, until Raft comes along , the narration by Emma Wilder deserves a shout out. Rosalind James allowed you to be able to close your eyes and see the story played out, Emma Wilder brought it's play out to life with her diverse vocal skills!!!!!!
if your looking still for the beach read, this is def it.
As i said it takes you from brut to full on cant live without Lily's Love to, Lily learning what you see on the outside is not always how it is, that there is happy ever after. that there peer pressure with Adults as much as in the kids world .

I was just as sucked in to this story as I was Guilty As Sin! I loved the dynamic with Lily and Raif and how big their hearts are.

Incredible!

The twins each move in their own directions, this book focusing on the Montana twin from her actor neighbor to a distressed child and the bond they build together.

Romantic escapade

I really love Rosalind James books & audiobooks.Once I start reading or listening I can't stop until I finish. This story is no exception. My favorite thing about her writing is that family is always so important and a big part of the books. Tempting as Sin is not a continuation of book 1 Guilty as SIn but it's best if you read that one first so you can relate all the characters that are in both books. Rafe and Lily are both relatable people and you root for both of them to come out ahead. As always i look forward to the next book by Rosalind James.
Emma Wilder does such an amazing job on the narration. She's one of my favorites. The accents and male voices are so good you sometimes forget it's the same narrator.

Loved it!!
