This is a very entertaining series, and Tenacious continues the story. It is amazing how Kydd continues to advance, in spite of the dislike from commanders on his own side. He seems constantly in peril from both the enemy and the British.

A bit wordy. Would like more action. I do like the the adherence to history.

Really liked this sequel and look forward to the next. Love the historical research but also the geography lesson one receives as the series continues

I have been through what I thought was all of the 18/19 century novels about British warships in the Napoleonic era. Started to not even try this one, and was totally cut off guard. It is just as good if not better, both author and narrator than most of the others.

Surprised by narrator and author
