The Coleman family's kingdom faces new challenges on the horizon as lone survivor Amelia starts a fateful journey recalling a troubled past controlled by her father's iron will. After years alone, Cary Assante sweeps into her life, wiping away the shadows of tragedy with a young man's fierce passion. Together they build a billion-dollar dream. But now her husband's success may be the beginning of the end of their fragile marriage. While Amelia finds herself in danger of losing her beloved Cary to the temptations of another woman, she carries her own damning secret - with consequences that will reverberate across an empire, leaving her family to pick up the pieces of a shattered legacy.

I am absolutely loving this series. BUT...was terribly disappointed to find a different narrator on this..the third book in the series. after coming to know the characters by the voices that Erin Yuen..the narrator from books 1 and 2..used for them it was so distracting to trt to get used to a new narrator. I couldnt concentrate thru the first quarter of the book. other than that the story has continued on in a wonderful way and I am looking forward to getting started on the 4th and final book in this Texas series

why change the narrator halfway thru the series??!
