Solid entry into popular Isekai

It's a really solid entry going over the first half of season two of the anime. If you enjoy the manga or the anime you'll love the audiobook. The only thing i have to say is I wish they had one other person to voice the male voices for everyone who isn't Rimuru. Some of the voices for primary male characters feel a bit same-y or sound like Ms. Karbowski is chewing on a particularly chewy steak.
Other than that though, its fantastic the VA is great at most everything and honestly I love it. 12/10, have listened to it multiple times.

Yes!!!!

I have been waiting for this to come out for a while now. I love how the plot goes and we get to look at the life of people other than rimuru. I really was surprised how the plot goes, (especially the part where rimuru finds shion in the square), but it all turned out all right. It possibly the best out of the five on audible so far.

Merciless

I think this release will be the pinnacle of the series for at least some time. I think the next book will be decent, mainly covering the big meeting of the demon lords, but after that, I'm afraid the series will devolve into " That Time I Was Reincarnated as the Chairman of the Board." If memory serves, the anime was 90% meetings and discussions. Let's all hope the source material is more interesting.

At any rate, it is always satisfying when a nice MC does not equate to a spineless pushover. In this release, we get to see Rimuru's merciless side, and he even has a skill to prove it.
