ROAD TRIP "read" was MEDIOCRE

Josie was just toooo needy, Aaron was too predictable. Sorry line could have evolved a bit more. No closure except everybody dies . . .

Lots of action and dead bodies, not much depth, few surprises.

The text is full of cliches. I counted "It is what it is" five times over the 3 rather short stories. "The coast was clear." "It didn't take him long to find out" was an overused transition. Mr. Ryan provided lots of action and dead bodies, all superficial. When there was analysis of facts, no details were given, just some conclusions. Few surprises in the plot.
Overall it is a lazy writing style.
