The Mystery of the Blue Train

In this official authorized edition featuring exclusive content from the Queen of Mystery, robbery and brutal murder aboard a luxury transport ensnares the ever-attentive Hercule Poirot.

When the luxurious Blue Train arrives at Nice, a guard attempts to wake serene Ruth Kettering from her slumbers. But she will never wake again—for a heavy blow has killed her, disfiguring her features almost beyond recognition. What is more, her precious rubies are missing.

The prime suspect is Ruth’s estranged husband, Derek. Yet Hercule Poirot is not convinced, so he stages an eerie reenactment of the journey, complete with the murderer on board. . . .

Evil Under the Sun

In this exclusive authorized edition from the Queen of Mystery, the fastidious sleuth is on the trail of the killer of a sun-bronzed beauty whose death brings some rather shocking secrets into the light.

The beautiful bronzed body of Arlena Stuart lay face down on the beach. But strangely, there was no sun and Arlena was not sunbathing…she had been strangled.

Ever since Arlena’s arrival the air had been thick with sexual tension. Each of the guests had a motive to kill her, including Arlena’s new husband. But Hercule Poirot suspects that this apparent “crime of passion” conceals something much more evil.

Great fun to be able to listen to this rather than read it. Thank you.

*No Spoilers*
Two of the best Hercule Poirot mysteries in one package, with world-class narration by David Suchet. There’s nothing to dislike about this production, even down to the smallest details. In fact, it’s those details that make this particular version so compelling. Suchet takes as much care with the minor characters, such as the unintentionally comical Gardeners, as he does with Poirot himself. I didn’t even get close to figuring out The Who Dun It in either book, both endings were delightful surprises.
If it’s a Poirot story voiced by either David Suchet or Hugh Fraser, you just cannot go wrong.

Storytelling perfection

Good plot with excellent narration...by Poirot himself. Actually, it's David Suchet who narrates and does a fantastic job with the numerous character's voices.

Excellent

I would highly recommend this author, these titles and this narrator. The narrator’s use of different accents for each character was superb and brought the story to life.
