Not Uris’s best work

It feels like a novel that Uris banged out in the hopes of getting a screenplay deal in the early ‘60’s. The characters are two-dimensional at best.

entertaining story but definitely not to be compared to Leon Iris's other books. reads like a mystery

It kept me in suspense. The voice performance was excellent. I am glad it was a short book.

Could not put it down

I loved the whole story. This kept me on the edge from beginning to end.

Good story, good characters and good narration. I enjoyed this unusual war story. I recommend it to all.
