Another excellent listening experience!

This is my third Craig Childs’ book and I loved it! He’s a gifted writer and narrator. I have read some reviews that describe his style as monotonous, but I couldn’t disagree more. His soothing, poetic prose is both vividly descriptive and constantly, patiently driven. His style reminds me of what it is like to hike through the desert. I have yet to be disappointed by one of his books! Highly recommend.

Enter the world of animals. Respect for their beingness and nowness is paramount. It's an important state of being that the author has mastered. A place we should all be more familiar with.

I love the descriptive writing of this author. I also love that it’s read by the author. I can close my eyes and listen and almost see everything he is describing.
