Julian returns home as a Baron, basking in glory, riches, and the company of the women he's always dreamed of. Just as news of his long-lost father reaches him, Julian's strongest ally falls gravely ill, and only he can save her. To complicate matters further, an impending war threatens to tear apart everything he holds dear.

His quest takes him to the Twelve Islands, an archipelago teeming with rebellious orcs and newly liberated dragonkin. This hostile region seems to hold the answer to all his prayers even if it brings great dangers. With his devoted wives and a mysterious yet enchanting portal mage by his side, Julian embarks on his most dangerous journey yet.

The stakes are higher than ever, but if he succeeds, he will cement his power as the Arcane Lord and secure a future for his loved ones.

So much for arcane being a rare mage type. Literally a few weeks later there’s another arcane mage. I don’t get it, it didn’t make the book better in fact it makes the mc not seem special at all. Pretty disappointed in this book
