Experience the story of the great flood as you never have before

Zara and Noah have walked together with the Creator for their entire lives. They have done their best in an increasingly wicked and defiant world to raise their three sons to follow in their footsteps. It has been a challenge—and it’s about to get much, much harder.

When the Creator tells her husband to build an ark to escape the coming wrath against the sins of humankind, Zara steps out with him in faith. But the derision and sabotage directed their way from both friends and extended family are difficult to bear, as is knowing that everyone she interacts with beyond her husband, her sons, and their wives is doomed to destruction.

When the ark is finally finished and the animals have been shut up inside, Zara and her family embark on an adventure that will test their patience and their faith as they await deliverance and dry ground.

I loved hearing this story from a character who is rarely talked about but would have been involved in the most intricate parts of this story! I couldn’t stop listening!

Great story!

This retelling of the story of Noah through the eyes of his wife Zara was amazing. The daughters-in-law seemed exactly right to me because both Shem and Japheth's wives were completely supportive, Ham's wife, an influencer rather than supporter. Had she not been, abuse would have been called into play which Scripture never even alludes to. Only objection, Shem should have been shown in a closer relationship with YHWH, since some texts like Yasher reveal him to be not only Abraham's teacher, but also names him as Melchizedek. Enjoyed it!!

Great story and narration! I always wondered how and where the arc was built and whether or not others were aware that it was happening. The narration was excellent.

I enjoyed imagining how it was during the time of Noah’s Ark . This book was thought provoking and very enjoyable.

I enjoyed the portrayal of the inter-relationships of Noah’s family and their dedication to The Creator. The treacherous times of Noah leading up to the flood were compelling, and the Watchers and Nephilim among them added an element of the supernatural. References to the Biblical text gave a good framework. Most enjoyable.
