A full-length study of the teaching of S. N. Goenka, prepared under his guidance and with his approval. Useful for meditators and non-meditators alike. This was the first book to appear in English that accurately describes the practice of Vipassana at length for the general listener. It includes stories by Goenkaji, as well as answers to students’ questions that convey a vivid sense of his teaching.

An educational & enlightening read. I’ve listened to this more than once, & as an audio novel, it’s well read.

I sincerely believe this book would be a better read than listen. You need time to process the ideas and stories, which the audiobook does not allow for. Also, the recording quality is poor, the reader is uninterested and painfully mono-toned, and the stories can be difficult to understand.

Not worth the listen
