Aiyana and Kendra Cassidy never anticipated becoming the key to humanity's survival. As leaders of the Heavy Lift Corporation, their objective is clear: secure humanity’s future among the stars. Politics? Who needs it, when the galaxy is calling?

Their obstacles are formidable. Earth’s resources are dwindling, and the once-promising Artemis Accords now serve as a fragile shield against the oppressive Solarian Union. Political intrigue, technological challenges, and the ever-present threat of orbital bombardment from the Union make their mission perilous. Furthermore, the plan to convert sunken naval ships into a space fleet seems a desperate gamble, with both allies and enemies watching their every move.

The consequences of failure are stark: three-quarters of Earth’s population face starvation within decades, and the Solarian Union’s dominance could become unassailable. Success, however, means a rebirth for humanity—a chance to explore the stars, establish new colonies, and reclaim control over their destiny.

Set in a richly detailed sci-fi universe, the Artemis Wars Omnibus Edition combines space exploration, military strategy, and dystopian survival with intricate character dynamics. Follow Aiyana and Kendra as they navigate a web of political deception, technological innovation, and personal sacrifice. This is not just a battle for resources; it’s a fight for the future of mankind. Will they triumph and lead humanity into a new era among the stars? Dive into the Cassidyverse and find out.

I am not against LGBT community but why are there only 2 male/female relationships, but lost count after 12 female/female relationships?

I have been with Audible for a very long time and this is my worst review. And yes I finished the complete omnibus series. Talk about confusion with all the conflicts makes it appear that humanity of the future suffers from lack of ethics and moral compass are insight into any kind of planning for a future without conflict.

Basing it storyline around Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and Babylon 5 including ranking and structure is very short sighted. Storyline could have been much better had a path of exploration and colonization been chosen instead of one of so much wasteful death and destruction in the Sol system.

Yeah Gad’s!!

Might just be me, but it seems like almost all the characters are female. Seems kind odd and if there was a male character from i could tell they were either really aggressive or a complete sissy.

Characters?

As others have pointed out, almost all the characters seem to be female and the men that were introduced are either incapable without a woman to explain things to him or extremely hostile and needing to be removed. The author clearly has a chip on their shoulder when it comes to men and it shows in their writing. The performance was passable but it was hard to distinguish between characters. Honestly I would return it if it wasn't free and not even sure I will ever finish it.

Unrealistic Characters

The story is decent, some good science and exploration showing the potential here. Unfortunately this gets ruined by the basic theme that any character introduced that is female is completely 100 % better then anyone else. Every male character is either a. a complete babling idiot, or b. completely 100% aggressive and unable to do anything but be a roid rage trope. A bit of diversity and a touch more realism would do wonders. not all women are super woman and not all men are drooling neaderthals. do better please.

Good potential wasted.

I like to listen to books to fall asleep and thought this omnibus would be just the thing! It’s slow moving and is often times descriptively rambling for little value. Perfect, right?!
Not so much. I sure hope there are other works before this that explain the back ground of the story. There are some things that really need explaining:
1) Why are the smartest and most capable people bisexual/lesbian/poly women?
2) Why are most of the men in the story aggressive idiots?
Was there a Y chromosome centric plague that completely changed how the human species had to interact and reproduce?
This is sci-fi! It is a safe place for imagination, just explain what’s going on or the reader will fill in the blanks with their own experiences.
Maybe there’s an earlier work that explains all this and should have been included?

I should have read the reviews before buying this.
