The first two bosses have been defeated, and Player has bought himself some time. Though, between spending time with his new lovers, figuring out how to make an airship function by exploiting the world's mechanics, and exploring caves with his pet mimic to find more resources to craft better gear with, he has plenty to do and little time to do it before more bosses appear. Then there is still the truth of the world itself and the enigmatic entities seemingly behind it that he has to uncover. On top of that, as he spends more time in this new world, he must face even more challenges that didn't exist in the original game...some of which will push him harder than everything before them.

Note from the author: The Ascension Game is a lightweight LitRPG that focuses more on build variety and horizontal progression rather than strictly numbers going up, though options are limited at first. The system draws inspiration for its mechanics from a variety of RPGs and sim games.

Super cool

I really like this series, the approach on the structure of the game world is so unique. Way more game like than normal. It’s seems like a small thing but it is such a cool way to give the mc an edge

Great Series Continuation

This book was a great second book for this series. It had just the right amount of progression, action, intrigue and humor. This really is a fun series I think most fans of the genre would enjoy.

Giancarlo Herrera and Hannah Schooner continue to give a great narration performance throughout this book.

great story. NSFW!

while I love the concept, story, characters, and vocal skills of the narrator. there are NSFW scenes depicted. there needs to be some sort of indicator that this is nsfw!

Good sequel

Very good sequel to the first book and a pleasure to listen to.

We get a bit more information about the world and the events that led to our current story as well as some relationship advancement. Ninja is just too adorable.

The voice acting is still doing its job wonderfully, helping the story immersion, both narrators did great.

Only small complaint would be the scarcity of the steamier scenes, but it does not detract from the value of the story.

A continuation of a fun story

I received a free copy of this book in order to give my honest opinion. Trying to limit spoilers. The MC finally meets a more difficult challenge, but as veteran player of crafting games he finds more crazy solutions that would make any insane Minecraft player beam with pride.

Keep them coming, I'm looking forward to the the next book.
