The Unexpected

This split time novel was like a wild ride through the countryside on a horse drawn carriage just short of being out of control. I I loved it!

Another great book from Jaime Jo Wright ! I love the mix of historical and current points of view and they are written in a way that they hard to follow or keep up with who is who. Great writing style. Also the narrators are great.

Mysteries across time!

This is my new favorite Jaime Jo Wright book! (They are all great!) I loved the mysteries in each time period and how they intertwined with great parallels between the stories. The characters are so well written they come alive on the page! I could easily read another book telling more about their lives, I enjoyed them all so much. Jaime Jo you outdid yourself again! And I really enjoyed the readers as they brought the story to life!

Surprising dual time suspense

I enjoyed listening to this book. Sometimes macabre, but always very interesting how the dual times come together. Clean with just a hint of romance. Surprising twists keep your attention!

I so enjoyed every minute of this book!! I confess that I was reading and listening to this story at the same time, when I couldn’t read, I was listening and the narration was SO good that I didn’t mind listening to what I’d already read!
I feel like Jaime Jo out did herself on this story 🤗
It had all the spooky vibes to keep the chills going up your spine and enough plot twists to keep you guessing.
But, Jaime doesn’t just focus on the mysterious, she also touches on the broken places of humanity with such understanding and grace, she brings light, hope and healing into her stories.
Well done Jaime Jo!!! Five stars across the board ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
