As if that’s not bad enough, the minute we step on deck, she thinks that certain people on the yacht are up to something shady - based completely on her soap opera knowledge.

She won’t listen when I tell her she’s being ridiculous.

But as the days go by, I find that we’re actually having fun. And our fake kisses are heating up. And suddenly her wild theories aren’t sounding so strange after all...

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

Characters talking tropes is a kind of sly fourth wall break

Loved the writing, loved the narrators (yay Neva Navarre!) loved the heroine’s story. She felt so like a real person that I bet the author has a friend with some of her quirks. The “not gonna love again, nu-uh no way never” trope can be tedious but was pushed just the right amount. It takes a masterful hand.

But what really worked was the female characters all knowingly joking about tropes that is almost but not quite a fourth wall break. Romcom aficionados will appreciate this like a sly wink and a nudge.

this was a cool story. narration was good. recommend spending a credit on it. can't wait to read the rest in the series

loved the book but female voice actor is not good

LOVED the book, but the female voice actor performamce is not great and often took me out of the story. her acting and pronunciations are often weird, constantly saying the male main characters name as RAX not REX. it was disappointing.

so wonderful

I smiled and chuckled more while listening to this than almost any I have. Just past the middle it stopped being so fun but by then I was completely wrapped up in what turned out to be an interesting and well written story. Yep, time to buy the next one. Peace
