Devney Perry does it again...

I savored this story. I had so many emotions. The voice actors did an amazing job bringing it to life.

Good

Male narrator was an interesting choice. He was fine… just voice did not fit character. I dont think female was the best fit either. Nothing annoying they just were a bit nerdy rather than sexy.

This book was a suggested read and I’m glad I did. I found a new author to add to my reading collection.

Poppy and Cole meet on the worst night of her life. He is the officer who tells her that her husband has died. 5 years later she’s back and she’s completing her husband’s birthday list - things he wanted to do before different birthdays. Cole helps her complete the things and they spend a lot of time together. Will the list help Poppy move on and love Cole how he loves her?

Such a wonderful love story after loss.

I loved this book when I first read it and listening to it made it even better. Poppy and Cole were made for each other after Jamie’s murder. I love how he helped complete the birthday list. Cole was such a patient loving man. I love the balloon paint fight. Randall was also one of my favorite characters.
