The Blue Coyote is an IndieBRAG Medallion honoree and a finalist in the 2013 CLUE Awards.

Frannie and Larry Shoemaker love taking their grandchildren, Sabet and Joe, camping with them. But at Bluffs State Park, Frannie finds herself worrying more than usual about their safety, and when another young girl disappears from the campground in broad daylight, her fears increase. The fun of a bike ride, a flea market, marshmallow guns, and a storyteller are quickly overshadowed. Accusations against Larry and her add to the cloud over their heads. Frannie begins to puzzle out the mystery: Are the itinerant road workers as much of a threat as Frannie thinks? What about the lone woman camper who also disappears? Or is the girl's deadbeat dad behind it all?

Great story! Grandparents Frannie and Larry take their grandkids on a camping trip and meet up with friends. Then a girl from the campsite disappears. When Frannie and Larry come under suspicion, she decides to investigate. One thing’s for sure, Frannie is not your run-of-the-mill grandmas! This grandma is a super sleuth and will leave no stone unturned. and start to investigate. Really enjoyed it.

The story was well written and kept me entertained. Love seeing what trouble the characters find themselves in each camping trip they take.

Michelle Babb does an amazing job as always bringing each character to life. Onto the next one.

A very fun mystery to listen to. I really enjoyed this story and they way this couple of grandparents are able to solve this mystery to prove that age really doesn’t matter. Narration was done very well also.

The Blue Coyote is a great mystery and I seriously enjoyed listening on my way to and from work.

Larry and Franny Shoemaker are going camping with their grandkids and meeting up with family and friends. Everything is going great until a girl comes riding by with her bike that has very screechy training wheels on it and Larry goes to intercept . The little girl goes to a lady for help and after that disappears without a trace. Franny Shoemaker's mind starts running wild with how to solve this crime and point the law in the right direction. Will Franny and her friends solve this latest odd mystery in time?

Michelle Babb of course did amazing job and I have really enjoyed her story telling voice. Michelle can make the characters come to life

This is a great book; this is the second book in the Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mystery series written by Karen Musser Nortman and narrated by Michelle Babb. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
