Anne never disappoints.

Poignant. Enthralling. Not you typical piece. This author has become one of my top to read. She can take a dark tale and masterfully humanize the most inhuman experiences.

I believe that I've found a new author to add to my list of favorites. I really enjoyed this book. It is well written with good character development and a good story. This is actually the best book that I've read in a while.

predictable

Was just ok. Predictable if you read this genre. But I enjoyed the female protagonist.

Interesting plot with some surprises

Enjoyed it overall. Would have liked more background and history of main characters. Felt that Jude's background might have been helpful earlier in the narrative.
