Brutalized as a young girl by a vile sexual predator, Skye Cree is a survivor. Guided by the visions of her mystical spirit guide to the whereabouts of abducted girls, she uses her unique abilities to turn her horrifying past into a positive force for justice. Fighting the demons that have haunted her for years, she trusts only in herself - until she falls hard for a man for the first time in her life. Now, discovering her abductor is back with a vengeance, she becomes locked in a deadly race against time to stop the horrors of an evil human-trafficking ring that threatens to tear her world - and her newfound love - apart.

This is the first book I've read by this author. It has a paranormal aspect to a heinous subject. Anxious to read the next book.

Mystical

Great female voice narration. I don’t care for her portrayal of male characters. Storyline veered a bit at the end and didn’t keep my attention.

Good, not great

I am not sure I will read the next installment of Skye Cree. Would have enjoyed the booik much more without the supernatural aspect.

Just ok

Good story, even with sensitive subject matter. Narration is very good, story is interesting, worth the read.

Good story

My best friend recommended this book, and it did not disappoint. In this fantasy/mystery/paranormal romance/native folklore book, Skye Cree is a survivor turned kick ass heroine hunter with a purpose of taking out sexual predators. McKeehan is a really good storyteller - this book was edgy and often intense without being too explicit. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters, especially that of Skye, Josh and Kyia.
