Series Worthy

Well developed characters and an excellent story. This book captures the beginning of a solid series. When you finally know you go for it and hope for the best.

I loved this book

And I am looking forward to listening to the sequel. I loved the characters, and narration is always great when Lori Prince is at the mike.
But, it is time to write about non left “liberal” democrat lesbians, it is time to talk about a republican lesbian, or to push less the agenda of democrats, I am sure there are republican lesbians at least in the same ration to those in the democrat side.
I am not a political woman but I would like to read a WLW book who is more conservative, without converting them to the “liberal side...

This was really good! It was kind of a slow burn but it held you wanting more. To get to that moment when all is right in the world. And when it does it is so wonderful. The author made me a bit on edge and worried it wouldn’t turn out or we would be left with a cliff hanger but she didn’t so that is really good. The sex scenes were steamy and I had to rewind if I got distracted cus I wanted to hear it all. The rougher voice doesn’t fit the picture on the cover but at least we knew who was whom. So another amazing job from Ms. Prince as well. Her seductive voice and clear and emotional voice lead this story into its full intuition.

Reaching For A Star

Senator Jane Kincaid is driven to succeed and to make the world a better place. Determined to change the direction of the country, she runs for the Presidency and the voters fall in love with her and her goals. To assure her security, Secret Service Agent Alex Warner is assigned to be her close protection agent. After only days, Alex is in live and enthralled with Jane. Life gets in the way and Alex has to pull herself off the detail. Will they ever be able to admit their love. A great story about the sacrifice of service to the country. Recommend.

Fun story line.

I didn't realize until the end when they read the copyright that it was written so long ago. It seems like it could've been written in the last few years with the political climate.

I wasn't a huge fan of the southern accent for Alex. It made her sound like an old Grandma.

Also, the name Harry Johnson, Haha! Really?!
