It seems someone will do anything to get Penny-Ann to back off the case…including revealing her top-secret, ultra-embarrassing past.

So young!

I did not realize how young, and immature, the protagonist would be when I started this book. Like any newly turned 13 year old, there are a lot of bad decisions made along the way. However, her backstory is compelling and complete and her heart is in the right place. The ending is a surprise (no spoilers here!) and satisfying. Great read/listen for young persons...
