Review originally of ebook borrowed through my library’s Libby app. I liked the series so much I bought it during the Audible site wide sale.
Possible Spoilers:
We get multiple stories starting with Wade Montgomery & Birdie aka Bridgette Knox agreeing to date, then get engaged & marry, with a few fun side stories. Birdie gets to ride the bucking mechanical bull on the Feed Store Float during the Christmas Parade to win First Prize. The funniest story for me in the whole series happens when Birdie takes apart a yard sale chair to reupholster and out jumps a mouse. Luckily, she still has out the can of repellent she used earlier on a spider and goes to town with it. Except the can she grabbed was the upholstery glue for fabric and the mouse is glued to the floor. Birdie frantically calls Wade for help and he’s able to rehouse the mouse with the help of Google and peanut butter.
We get the Martin family reunited when youngest son Duffy remembers playing pirates and finds the buried treasure of stolen jewels that put his father in jail.
We get the enigmatic Elliott Graham who has one of his moments and stops Josh King from doing harm to himself after being fired for theft. Added to his gambling, it’s too much for his wife, who moves out with the kids. Elliott gives Josh a serious talking to from spirit about his poor choices and attitude. It’s a come-to-Jesus moment. Elliott helps Josh repay Dub Truesdale for the theft and gives him a second chance with a job driving a forklift at the Crown Grocery. And there we find out who the secret owner is. The gingerbread house decorating contest is a sweet addition for this holiday story.
Rubinate does an ok job with narration.

Christmas in Blessings , GA IS a blessing.

I’ve always heard things tend to come in threes- good things and bad things, and the adage was proved in A Christmas Wish.
Wade and Birdie’s story is the main story, and the only one with a bedroom story. In my personal opinion…, but who cares, right? Their story has some very funny scenes as well. I listened to this book on Audible, and I laughed outLOUD when Birdie saw a mouse. Wade (a Chris Hemsworth doppelgänger) is a dream come true, but that Birdie? She’s a force to be reckoned with, and together they make a great team.

There were two other storylines, both emotional. The second involved Josh and LeJune King at a crossroad only they could maneuver, well, with a little help.

The third storyline, with Zach and Candi Martin and their two sons, Alan and Duffy, former residents of Blessings. This one wrenched my heart three ways from Sunday!

I’ve always lived in a small town, and Blessings, GA feels like home to me.
When characters return in cameo whom I’ve ‘met’ before, it’s like I’m running into them at the grocery store catching up on their lives.

it's always beautiful to hear great stories about Christmas but blessings Georgia just naturally has love and then you add a Christmas time good and bad ups and downs Lowe's and Hines and fall in love all over again.

Bridget and Wade date and fall in love. She gets spared a bullet to the head by mere inches.
Johnny and Bari make a family together. And 16 year old Duffy solves the 10 year old crime that put his wrongly accused father in jail!!
