good story great reader

story was a little bleak and parts were too graphic could have been better edited.

sounded almost robotic

decent storyline. narrator sounded quite robotic. good imagery and suspense. Five words remaining before I can end this review.

An ok book

definitely not the best book I have listened to this year. But overall it's not too bad.

A Really Good Modern American Noir Crime Novel

This is a intense modern crime drama set in Omaha, Neb. The audiobook is very well read. The story started slightly slowly, but that was probably necessary to build the foundation of the story. By the end I found the story to be the audiobook version of a "page turner".

I read and listened to this novel simultaneously. This is the first novel I have read by this author. I have already purchased a second novel.
If one likes modern American Noir Crime Drama, one may wish to consider this one. Thank You...
