This narration

I’m not that far into this book but I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish it. I usually force myself even if the story is terrible.
I’m having such a hard time with this narrator. Her character voices are so unnatural and there are awkward pauses where there shouldn’t be.

Why????

The initial storyline of a Dr. having to struggle with her own lack of children and then having to fertilize an ex’s wife. Would have been sufficient. That was completely overshadowed by the million different directions the characters and storylines went. Why have affairs, murder, disappearance, and cover up all have to be rolled into one. Less is more. So close to being unbearable had to finish for a BC.
