Different accents made this confusing

I liked this book. It had a fun plot and many twists and turns. My one issue is that there were two narrators for the two different POVs and one narrator would use an English accent for a character and the other narrator wouldn't. It was very confusing.

Never saw that twist coming! It was very well written and such a good performance as well.

The hype is real

I saw this book promoted a lot on various places I go for book recommendations (Audible, Pinterest, various YouTubers), this is my 1st time reading this author but I understand previous books are great too!
The Clinic is exceptional even for all the great twisty mysteries there are right now! Each twist has its own offshoot of other twists ect. The ending had like 5 mins worth of twists! I kept thinking it was over but then, mind blown again!
The narration is on point! Each character is distinct and when a book has this many to keep tract of that is important!
All around excellent listen I would recommend to anyone!

I finished this book in one day. I COULD NOT STOP READING IT. 10/10 for thriller and rollercoaster of emotions EVER. SENTENCE.

Really not sure why this isn’t rated higher

I don’t review books often, but I almost didn’t get this book because of the rating and I’m happy I ignored the ratings and listened based off the summary. This is the opposite of a slow burn which I feel like almost every book is nowadays. This hooked me from the start and I didn’t stop listening for the 2 or 3 days it took me to finish. Lots of twists and turns, I couldn’t even guess close what the actual ending was. Also this cate Quinn is not the same Kate Quinn that wrote the briar club which could’ve also been a deterrent because I thought that book was just ok. The clinic might seem like it’s the same as many other psych ward story lines but I felt the concept was truly unique and engaging.
