Next thing I know, I have dead people, demons, lizard people, and corrupted monsters at my front door. Bad enough my food supplier is ticked because I forgot to pay him, and I have a mysterious VIP on their way to the hotel.

Good thing I have new friends and plenty of burritos. I'm going to need all the good I can get as a darkness from my past comes back to haunt me.

Love it

Book 2 didn’t disappoint. This is a really good, fun book. A little bit of everything. Well written and narrated. Great job all around all.

Another funny, over the top episode!

Gotta luv the over-the-top burrito eating badass that is the mc. He got a new ride...sooo perfect for him. He's got lots more mental meanderings and commentary...totally hilarious and usually inappropriate. He's also teaching angels to curse...classic! This is truly an over-the-top story and is told in an over-the-top way by both Ron and Melisandre. I had my doubts about Ron at the beginning of book 1 but the man is perfect for this tale. I was wrong and I still win! Can't wait for these 2 to tell the next tale at the Coffin Inn!

great and funny series

I've really enjoyed this series so far. it's funny and action packed and has an element of bad building. the mc is a good guy but has a no nonsense attitude and mean streak toward people that deserve it. I thought the narration was good. warning if you listen to this book you'll crave a burrito.

a lovely and spooky sequel.
the production value is amazing. it even has a soundtrack.

I LOVE IT!!!

Book 2 is just as good as book 1.
I was hoping it would be, but wasn't expecting it.
If you liked the first one you're going to like this one.
Same great characters from book 1 and new great characters are added.
I've already listened to books 1 and 2 twice and it looks like this series will be one of my "Go-to" series, when I'm wondering what to read.
I'd give it 6 stars if I could!
