Rain turns eighteen tomorrow – and eighteens are killed.

In the ashes of a shattered rebellion, Rain has lived her life under the shadow of death. In Quadrant Four, turning eighteen means execution—punishment for the sins of her father and the Resistance he led. But when the noose tightens, the unthinkable happens: a winged fae prince tears her from the jaws of death.

Now Rain is thrust into the jeweled prison of the fae realm of Tenebrea—a kingdom of illusion, magic, and secrets where nothing is as it seems. The mysterious and powerful Prince Tenebrea claims he’s saved her life for a reason. That she’s the key to a prophecy. That she is to be his bride.

But Rain is no pawn. Raised on survival and sharpened by loss, she’s determined to uncover the truth behind her sudden rescue, her family’s betrayal, and the chilling prophecy that binds her fate to the most feared fae in existence.

As tensions rise and danger closes in, Rain must navigate the deadly politics of the fae court, uncover hidden powers within herself, and decide: can she trust the prince who owns her future—or will she become a weapon in a war she never chose?

Perfect for fans of slow-burn romantasy, arranged marriage tension, fae royalty, angel lore, fierce heroines, found family, secret rebellions, and enemies-to-reluctant-allies-to-something-more.

Dance With a Fae Prince meets A Court of Throne and Roses

A slow-burn romantasy of fae royalty, fallen angels, found family, and a girl destined to change everything.

If ACOTAR and The Hunger Games had a daughter raised by angels and betrayed by fae...it would be The Coming of Rain.

The story was interesting, however, the ai reader made it extremely difficult to listen to and enjoy. There was absolutely no inflection, the entire story was read in a monotone voice. Additionally, ai failed to read the punctuation correctly so some sentences ran together or just didn’t make sense. I am so glad this book was free and I didn’t pay for it.
