What made the experience of listening to The Constant Companion the most enjoyable?
This was an excellent Beaton title, if you are familiar with her books, this one will not disappoint, she is a real master of character, and she has some hilarious ones in this bookWhat three words best describe Lindy Nettleton’s voice?
The reader was a bit stiff, not my favorite of the usual readers for BeatonAny additional comments?
My only complaint with this book was the really annoying way that the husband kept doubting the wife in a completely unrealistic manner, I guess just to keep the plot going. This happens a lot in these books, first the two unlikely people get together, then there is some harebrained reason why they split up or fight, etc. don't read this book for the plot, the characters are the thing, imoDon't get me wrong, I love MC Beaton
