Narrator puts you to sleep. Annoying voice.

I absolutely love Salvatore, I have all of his works in my personal library.

Unfortunately this narrator makes it incredibly hard to finish the first book of the saga, let alone buy anymore.

Sounds like he should have stayed in theatre doing renditions of Shakespeare, not reading Salvatore.

good character development

MC development was good, but the development of the secondary characters in thia first part of the trilogy was a welcome aspect.

Epic Ranger Origin Story

Great book and series for Salvatore fans. Different enough from his other work to stand apart. Plenty of elves though. Very enjoyable and somewhat gutwrenching. Great summer read, and I will continue with the series.

my favorite of Salvatore's works so far

I still don't care for Salvatore's perspective Choice sometimes it can make things a little more confusing but the world he has created in this book is great very unique and extremely deep not just a cookie cutter fantasy world also the reading of it isn't very good
