The characters were so well developed

This is the third book of the series. These are the first books I’ve read by Kiki and I’m impressed by how well I am able to “see” what she is saying. I am going to listen to all her books.

Interesting

This was my first time reading this type of romance novel and I was greatly pleased with this series. The people were fleshed out and each story was told with care. I would recommend this read to anyone of my friends who enjoy a good Romance Novel.

Beautiful and Frustrating

I have listened to the books in order this far. Graves does a very good job narrating. I like the writing in general. (Note: One spoiler trigger mention at the end of this review which doesn’t affect the plot.)

I’d have been more inclined to keep following this detailed and nuanced series if it did not do the “To Be Continued” thing, though. I have saved up for complete series before, but not because I was gimmicked into it.

I loved this world and the characters, but I feel jerked around at this point, and not in a good way.



These three books have so much potential, it’s a shame that cliffhangers eventually overshadowed the writing for me.

There is a Happy For Now included in this mostly unsolved saga.

Great but hard to get into

I want to let everyone know they need to give this book a chance. I struggled so hard to get into this book and to like the couple. but it gets really good and by the middle it's an easier listen. overall this is very good. it gets me more excited about the next book and couple.
for me there is one part of the book (that has to do with Jamie and Marcus) that felt unfinished. I'm hoping it'll be touched on and maybe summed up in the next one.
