Doesn’t disappoint!

The story was very sweet but heart wrenching at times . I liked that it was focused on developing the relationship between Chatham and Charlotte rather than distracting with multiple side characters. It does set the stage for the next book but the tormented hero was still the focus . He is the one we love to hate but turns out to be the most noble scoundrel.

Enjoyable

Enjoyed the story and the characters - would have liked a little more humour and a slightly more sensible heroine

Chatham stood out, not sure I spelled his name correctly, but he stood out his character development

Would’ve liked the story to be a little bit longer, extending to the birth of their child

Lovely story

The narrators voice made all the characters come alive and made the story more enjoyable. Would listen to it again.

likable but flawed characters

sometimes the story drags a bit but the couple has excellent chemistry. overall this is a perfectly diverting arrangement of the usual genre tropes
