In the early hours following a great snowfall, locals woke to find large, cloven hoofprints marching north. The trail ran across the countryside, for almost 100 miles, the mysterious beast trudging through fields, forests, and even across rooftops.

Now, an aging explorer longs for one last adventure, and fighting the elements and his ailing body, he sets out to find whatever is at the end of the Devil’s Footprints...

the narrator kept my interest. I think the story and the voice go good together.

Good characters

Story was pretty just a couple of things. Why name a mare King tut? Also no one calls their horse a beast, or refers to them as “it”, they are friends and companions. You see this in books often and it’s annoying. But it’s a fun story with memorable characters for one so short.
