Elizabeth Bentley has sacrificed a lot to play the role of perfect wife to her highly successful husband. Until one evening, she finds a letter from Don Bentley addressed to his wife…and it’s not Elizabeth’s name on the envelope.

Before Elizabeth can wrap her brain around the mysterious other woman, her husband vanishes on the eve of their anniversary. The police turn up at Elizabeth’s door, telling her there has been an accident. However, there’s one big problem: Don Bentley’s body is nowhere to be found.

As the investigation into his disappearance escalates, the police are increasingly convinced that Elizabeth is responsible for murdering her husband. But she knows better…and so does the other wife.

It was just okay.

I really like Gina's books but found this one to be disappointing. I didn't find a single character likable. The story was promising at the beginning but didn't pull me in or even make sense towards the end.
