David Shallows wants nothing more than to wipe dragons from the Earth. The evil creatures murdered his parents when he was a young boy, and now he's driven to destroy them and secure the safety of the unwitting humans who believe dragons are a myth. He eats, sleeps, and breathes to impress the secret Dragon Slayers Society which has raised him from childhood.

Obsessed with flight, Ethan Millford has been living with a secret for over 20 years, a secret that no human could ever hope to understand. As a dragon shifter, he is both dragon and human. By day, he soars over the town as a helicopter pilot. By night, he soars through the moonlight as a dragon. When he meets David, he starts to think that something else might be possible - a life of love instead of loneliness.

Can the two men escape the lives set out before them and forge something new, something based in love instead of violence?
