Hoping by now

I was hoping by now I'd get to listen to Troy narrate shades character permanently. But I have found that only in previewing the books is when I get to hear him, I'm not sure now if I want to finish this story an buy the 4th book. If I'm only going to hear a female voice as both Sarah's and shades characters

So hooked

Absolutely love this series Cabot put it down awesome. The narrative is awesome every thing with this series keeps you hanging on

Great Storyline, Poor Execution

I stuck it through because the female MC is often stupid, annoying, whiney at the beginning of these kinds of books but get better. That is not the case here. The female MC is whiney, weak, makes terribly stupid decisions, constantly in denial/ fainting/ unable to control her own actions or care about her own surroundings and it never stops. It is a frustrating listen and without the male MC and story, this series would be unreadable. She never seems to grow or get stronger of character despite so much going on.
