I like the rational and methodical nature of the presentation. I'm actually 75 years old and listening to retirement books primarily to consider investment strategies. so the detailed information about social security options and healthcare we're not a particular interest to me but still worth reviewing my awareness of them. the resources for investing and other issues are very good. and the life advice regarding planning what my retirement would be ideally and budgeting for it are also very useful.

good overview of retirement issues

Good stuff but better served to normal people back in 1980, imo. I will use her stuff to check off personally, being 10 years out myself. Also I don't think she ever mentioned nutrition and exercise (which would have it a personal mark for me).

Assume that you're upper middle class or better

An eye opener in a topic not taught or explained in school/college. It will change the way you look at retirement (or even F.I.R.E.)
