Ashton Jennings is in the forests of the Allegheny Mountains outside Pittsburgh looking for his friend. Ashton has convinced his brother and fellow Fox Shifter, Will, to go with him, hoping to find their friend Harley hiking on the usual trails. Ashton’s made a mess of his life, between the failed engagement and the loss of his friendship, he wants to make something right. What Ashton and Will don’t yet understand is that danger beyond their wildest dreams is lurking in these woods, following them, tracking them. This danger will drive them into the den of the Dragons of the Allegheny mountains, where they will find shelter and maybe much more.

Saphir Rath, Dragon Knight to King Bazil of the Allegheny Dragon Circle, isn’t really happy with all these different shifters in his home. They have been aiding the Hadden Coven of Pittsburgh as they cleared the forest of a great evil, but one can only handle so many strangers in their home. When the Fox brothers end up in their care, Saphir is annoyed. He makes that annoyance clear to anyone who will listen. Soon he will discover that it is none other than Fate that has brought the foxes to his door and in Ashton Jennings he will find his forever.

Can Saphir win the heart of his mate and keep him safe from the danger that is targeting him?
