What's the worst thing that can happen on a hiking holiday? Getting lost? Blisters? Falling out with your partner? Try being abducted by aliens and crash landing on a strange planet that wants you dead.

When avid gamer Brandon awakes surrounded by endless snow and countless monsters, he knows his survival odds look slim at best. Not that he's planning to go down without a fight. Being a self-confessed nerd doesn't mean he's going to roll over and die. Brandon's determined to get himself home and protect whoever he finds upon the way. That includes a couple of stunning alien women who need his help as much as he needs theirs.

Enhanced with a strength as foreign to him as The Fractured World itself, it's up to Brandon to rise to the occasion and show this primitive planet who's boss. His women are counting on him, and Brandon doesn't intend to let them down.

Contains mature themes.

It's a good thing I wasn't dead set on continuing this series, because there don't seem to be any more works in the series - at least not on Amazon.

The PC is an ordinary nerdy guy who ends up abducted from earth and marooned on an alien world where technology doesn't work and he, a hot princess and a tsundere bodyguard must work together for survival. The world is made of different areas with sharp delineations between vastly different climates. There are a number of mysteries just touched on in this book, that presumably would have been expanded on in future works in the series.

It's not bad. If future books in the series dropped in my lap, I wouldn't object to listening to them - but I wasn't going to go out of my way to seek them out.

It's ok

i don't know if it was the narration the 3 syllable name of the female MC or the avid use of the term my mate but it started grinding and i had to fast forward to the ending i wouldn't recommend this book

meh

This one is pretty uneven some parts and the overall plot are good. However there are a ton of hard eye roll moments. The MC fluxes between normal guy/cheesy white knight/TSTL romance MC. The side chars are a bit over the top as well. Pretty much all of the MCs internal dialog is cringe or obviously "stupid" for the sake of drama.

Honestly an OK and by that u mean completely average for the genre book. the VA though should consider a different line of work or stick specifically to just narration. him trying to be dramatic and whatever else he was doing with his voice just sounded cringe. it wasn't this bad when reading, just hearing him was....🤢🤮

The VA makes the most simple things sound so douchey!

I don't know why a lot of these reviews are like mhe I actually really liked this book especially that cheesy parts I really hope they make more in this series I'd like to see them getting through more of the biomes and maybe find out the secret to why the world is at patchwork planet the way it is and I'd love to see him kick Lord bogdan's ass

wouldn't change a thing I need more of this
