QB finally gives love a chance!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review.
L. A. Cotton has written a high school romance filled with lots of angst, drama, hurt feelings, misunderstandings, revelations, and love. In other words typical feelings of high schoolers. Jason feels love is not for him and we will learn why. Felicity knows this but her heart can't help itself. Their road to love is a rocky one that is filled with twists and turns. You will feel like kicking some sense into Jason.

Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross are two extremely talented narrators. They draw you into the story by making you feel the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Great High School Bully Romance

This is a great book abt a football jock who tried to avoid falling for his step sisters best friend. All time while he is suffering from mixed signals and confusion due to his own family screw ups! Takes some pretty amazing friends to stand up for him and remind him that you can’t help who you fall for and she maybe the best thing ever! She is too good for him and needs to spread her wings! Her parents are a little over bearing/controlling and not only does she fall for the football jock, but she finally finds what makes her happy! Narration is great with connecting you into the story line!

High School was never like that for me

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. Can you say "angst"? Felicity and Jason have a relationship in turmoil. The hot jock and the wall flower good girl. This is a great story about the trials and tribulations of young love. The narrators are awesome. Love that Sara Puckett and Wen Ross take narration to the next level. Looking forward to more books by L.A. Cotton.

YA High School Melodrama!

The Game You Play (Rixon Raiders #2) is a ya sports audio with an enemies to lovers sub-trope told in dual pov. This author writes books that are highly addictive and this novel fits that perfectly. Character's are compelling with complex personalities,  an array of supporting characters that accentuate the narrative. I absolutely love the arrangement and the football game technicalities which was well researched. The narrative glides through smoothly. I love this cutting-edge cosmo that this author has created. I love the comradery of  the characters. Looking forward to listening to the next novel in this highly enslaving series.

Narrators Sarah Puckett, Wen Ross dual narration was perfect. I'm able to distinguish between the male & characters easily. I just love these two narrators individually. Wen Ross's baritone voice is intoxicating and easy to listen to all day long. Sarah Puckett excels in her ability to create male and female voices. Her inflection is provocative and creates a sense of euphoria. Listening to this series in audio is a peachy experience.

Overall, I love the narrative as well as the narrators which brings the vibrant narrative alive.

Amazing!

The Game You Play By L.A. Cotton is a YA/NA enemies to lovers sports romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross.

All I can say is Wow! This is an amazing book and I cannot wait until The Harder You Fall is released on January 7, 2020. Lianne did an amazing job with the characters. I just had to know how the story was going to end. I enjoy that each book can be read as a standalone but are based around the same group of friends just a different relationship.

Once again Sarah and Wen knocked it out of the park. They are an amazing duo. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Young Adult, Enemies-To-Lovers Romance, or Sports Romance.
