Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

I told myself I didn’t want her anymore. I lied.

Four years ago, I would have done anything for Lady Liana Foxworth.
She was light, laughter, mine.

Then she ended us.
No explanation. No goodbye. Just silence.

I left with nothing but the weight of her absence—and returned colder, wealthier, and determined never to want her again.

Until I see her.

She is softer now. Quieter. Still impossibly lovely—and far more dangerous to my control.

Forced under the same roof, every glance drags the past back into reach.
She looks at me like regret still lives in her heart.

But wanting me won’t protect her when my uncle sets his sights on what is mine.
And this time, she’s the one standing in the line of fire.

I should push her away.
But pulling her closer might cost us everything.
