Sure, it might sound harmless. A fun party trick, even. I assure you, it’s not.

How do I know? Well, let’s just say that I’ve had a lot of experience with this sort of thing, and nine times out of ten, it turns into an all-consuming disaster. Being plagued by needy ghosts twenty-four/seven is one thing; being harassed by a horde of curious—or worse, grieving—flesh-and-blood people is an entirely different circus. I mean really, who wants to hold an impromptu séance in the middle of the cereal aisle? Not me, and the manager of the grocery store probably isn’t too crazy about the idea, either.

So, that’s it. If you’re a ghost whisperer, just keep your mouth shut and act normal. Ghosts? What ghosts?

Now, if only I would start listening to my own advice…

well written

this book was well written but a few things left out. I would have like an explanation for the family of the main character. I felt like if Scarlett was standing in front of me I would have asked questions. but maybe that would have slowed to story down, however it was good and I was satisfied with the ending.
I am so glad one of my favorite narrators did this series. she really brings a book to life.

Very entertaining and humorous story.

I really enjoyed the characters in this series. The humor and the different people. It was very lighthearted, and I liked that. The narration was really very well done. I have found that when it is ms. Ranconi narrating it is going to be a good book.

The ghost hunter next door

I enjoyed this book, it held my attention throughout. Good narration that brought the story to life. The tale of Rosie and Calvin has a satisfying and believable ending. I'll read more by this author and narrator.

Loved this book

This book was better then expected . I was listening to it as background noise originally but it pulled me in right at the beginning. I will definitely listen to more books by this author.

I’m surprised that I really liked this book! I thought a story about a ghost whisperer would be kind of farfetched, but this was well developed and fun.
