"A page turner that will keep mystery buffs reading to the frightening climax and satisfactory conclusion."—School Library Journal
Why does the ghost of a little girl haunt a bedroom in the old Watson House?
When Nina ("Nine") Tanleven gets a part-time job at Norma Bliss's antique shop, she doesn't expect it to lead to her next ghost. But antiques are a link to the past, and when Nine and Norma (along with Nine's best pal Chris), go to the old Watson house to pick up an antique wardrobe, they do indeed find something from the past: the ghost of a little girl who haunts the big brass bed in the tower room.
Who is this child? What is her story? What is she waiting for? And what does "Early Harvest," the gruesome painting that hangs in the parlor, have to do with it all?
As Nine and Chris struggle to unlock the secrets of a long ago tragedy, the trail of clues leads them to a startling discovery. Unfortunately, solving the mystery may cost them their lives!

Where does The Ghost in the Big Brass Bed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of my favorite YA books. It does a great job introducing some social American aspects of WWI, while remaining engaging. I highly recommend it for the tweens on your gift lists, as well as for yourself. Ghosts, mysteries, history, & libraries - what more can you ask for?Have you listened to any of Christina Moore’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I find the narrator's voice a bit grating, but I became used to it. And the characterizations are well done.Loved it
