A fun collection of scary stories

This doesn’t quite live up to the excellence of the First Responders series by one of the same authors, but it’s a fun spooky read. It’s still very good, however. The first books in this series are hard to beat. The narration is good, but sometimes a bit flat. This volume is geared to middle school through teen listeners, more so than the First Responders books. It’s similar to, “Haunted Objects, in that regard. Still, as an adult, I really enjoyed it. I appreciate that it had some very moving stories, and not a lot of unnecessary violence.
