I was able to figure out who did it and how fairly quickly.

I still enjoyed the book even though I was able to figure it out quickly.

I am fondly missing the writing and suspense of the first book so much character review in the last few I’m struggling to want to buy the next one

The later books in this series should be combined. The stories are interesting yet too much time is used to explain the setup from earlier books.
