"RC Boldt steps outside the typical and delivers an exceptional, original and emotional contemporary romance." (USA Today HEA Blog)

The biggest story of her life is the one he wants to hide.

I’m homeless by choice.

I have no intention of returning to my former life after what I’ve done.

This - living among the filth and discarded remnants of others - is what I deserve.

As atonement for my sins, I give back; I help those who cannot help themselves. But it’s always under the guise of anonymity.

Newspaper headlines throughout the city are clamoring to discover my identity. Including the beautiful woman who manages to see through my “armor.”

She has the capability to put my entire life at risk.

This was my first audiobook by this author although I have read her books and love them. This was my first for both narrators as well and they did a magnificent job.

This book has a fresh plot and the story has everything you want it’s funny, sad, sweet, steamy all wrapped in awesome characters. I loved this book.

Why do we as people have to know everything?

I really enjoyed this book, I loved getting the whole story and it made me think that questions why do we always have to know. Will it impact our life knowing the identity? No, but the actions is all that really matters because if someone else’s actions can make you a better person that focus on that. What does it matter the who?

I loved that about this book it was interesting and heartwarming these two characters were meant to meet that I believe and how it plays out really was sweet and kinda perfect.

I loved that it was all this drama but it was still interesting enough to want to know more.

I am a BIG fan of Lance his voice is one of my all-time favorites, Marisa was new to me and I enjoyed her as well I hope they get to do more together.

I LOVED IT!

Well RC Boldt has done it again....she has delivered a book that is so wonderful and heartfelt that you won't be able to put this book down or stop listening. The story line for this book is so unique that the characters will grip your heart and squeeze out every emotion until you are completely wrung out but that is what makes this book so wonderful. Jude and Faith are not your typical characters but they have the common everyday hardships that any one of us could be experiencing.

I thought the narrators did a great job with this book.

A wonderful story!

I love RC Boldt's stories, and this one was no exception. Great writing and intriguing story. The narration, however, had me REALLY struggling to finish the book. I listen to about 3 audible books a week and this is just one of the very, very few I had issues with. Marisa's voice was very monotone. I felt like she was reading a textbook. Very little inflection or diversity in her voice. I've never heard Lance before, so I'm not sure if this is typical of his speech or if he was doing it for the character, but he talks in a very low, gravelly, whispery voice. I kept waiting for him to say, "I'm Batman.". I loved the story, but I really struggled with paying attention because the narration was too distracting for me.

Narration killed it for me
