After Charles Spurgeon's death in 1892, 34,000 copies were printed and distributed to pastors and leaders in England through Mrs. Spurgeon's book fund. It is with great pleasure that we present this updated and very relevant audiobook to the Lord's army of today.

About the author:

Charles Haddon (C. H.) Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a British Baptist preacher. He started preaching at age 17 and quickly became famous. He is still known as the "Prince of Preachers" and frequently had more than 10,000 people present to hear him preach at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London. His sermons were printed in newspapers, translated into many languages, and published in many books.

I love the how Spurgeon communicates the importance of our reliance on God, His Word, and His Spirit. Highly recommend for any Christian, but especially those in or going into ministry. Praise God!

Wonder Lecture

C. H. Spurgeon at his best and well worth the time taken to listen to timeless truths!!

So much to learn here.

I feel many of our churches are letting us down. Pastor Spurgeon really helps us understand truth.

Enjoyed this very much

Great Book. narrator was ok (probably a whole lot like Spurgeon). Although this was from the 1800's it was very applicable to 2021.

Good but not the best

This is a good book and I am glad I listened to it. But there are better Spurgeon books out there.
