The last thing I need is this mysterious new guy, who runs the Kringle tree farm, interfering. He’s big, bearded and grumpy. He wears a lot of flannel and he does NOT like taking orders. Especially from me. We can’t agree on anything other than saving the business.

Cute short Xmas story of a recently fired NY exec, who went back to her small town to help her father after a fall and help her families failing Kringle Inn only to meet the new tree farmer. A funny Enemies to lovers with sparks flying and moderate heat. I liked the H voice..

A Christmas serial killer romance?

“Hide your nipples, Ethan.”
Finally, a book that matches the cover! Fun, family, and frisky naughty times with stellar narration.

“What if he’s a secret serial killer or something?”
Also, an odd fascination with serial killers and Paul “Bunyan” watching her sleep and eat.

“My name is Kristen; I’m humanizing myself in case you’re a serial killer.”
Loved the hate-flirting and fronting.

“He slapped my other cheek and it was glorious!”
There were salty nutcracker parts, but not too much to overwhelm the holiday novella fun.

All novellas of the Kringle family siblings are on Audible, but weirdly aren’t all under the series moniker. Maybe because three different authors and six different narrators delivered them?
It’s worth the effort to search by title/author, because these are great holiday pick-me-ups.

Good story. Just performance was not fitting to book.

The story was very good, it would have been great but the main characters voices were just not right for the book. The power was not there. Again, story was very good.
