Liam mistrusts rich people, but Teresa, the kind of society princess he would normally avoid at all costs, is hard to resist. Especially when she becomes suspiciously accident prone and in need of a protector.

Enjoyable

I haven’t read the first book in this series, but still really enjoyed The Guardsman and didn’t feel lost. The suspense and family dynamics and loyalty to each other throughout the book was great.

great audio book

This is my second audio book in this series which I enjoyed listening to just as much as the first. If you haven’t listened to the previous book in this series I highly suggest doing that. It is just as great as this one. I enjoyed the narrator and what they added to the story. They made it easy and engaging to listen to. What happens when you are accident prone and are in need of a protector? Liam and Teresa are about to find out. Their story is one that is full of romance and will keep you coming back for more. The characters have great growth as well as chemistry throughout the story. I really enjoyed this audio book and I think you will as well. I highly recommend this audiobook.

I have had the pleasure to listen to both of the books in this series and enjoyed each of them.  I loved being able to catch up with Joe, Allie, Teresa and others as well as meeting someone new.

Learning Liam's story was something I was hoping for since he was introduced.   Definitely a lot more interesting than I think most people would have expected.

I highly recommend listening to the first before taking on this one, there is a lot of useful information that will help make this one make sense.

Looking forward to the next one, I really like this family and look forward to keeping them around for a bit.

Engaging and addictive.

Once again, I’ve found myself bingeing on one of Cat Treadgold’s books! As a resident of the PNW, I find the descriptions of the towns and nature to be spot on. The storyline is fun and engaging. The fairy tale nature coupled with the real life characteristics makes it hard to stop listening. And, yes, I’m looking forward to number 3 in the series!

love story

When I started this book, I had no idea this was the second book in the series. itnhad great description ls of each character, and it was very easy to learn and feel their emotions. The story was intriguing and a little unique; at times, the storyline seemed a little far-fetched. The narration did sound forced which made it hard to focus on the story but I was able to get used to it as the story progressed. Overall, if you're looking for a cute romance, this will definitely fill that need.
